Burglary-proof protective glassBurglary-proof protective glass stops the burglar According to Vakes (Federation of Finnish Insurance Companies) burglar succeeds to break in about 50 000 times per year in Finland. Most of the burglaries are made impulsively by smashing the window to smithereens. Normal window glass (windowpane) can be broken by one hit. But you can give tens of hits by sledge, axe or any other commonly used burglar devices on Kimmelux Oy’s protective glass without causing enough big hole to enable to break in. Panstor is considerably stronger than traditional armoured glass. Panstor-burglary-proof glass stands the strokes Panstor–protecting glass is produced by combining glass- and polycarbonate sheets with chemical Panstor–compound. Optical features of glass, hardness as well as solidity of polycarbonate are combined in Panstor. Panstor protection glass does not change the colour nuances and the penetration ability of light through Panstor is good, too. You don’t need interfering bars when you use Panstor as protective window. Panstor-protecting glass can be combined with A-trap- breakage detector, that gives alarm after first hit on the glass. Panstor-protecting glass fulfils SFS-EN 356, P6B – P8B requirements. Ask for additional discounts from Veritas. At the Kimmelux Oy’s own tests the burglary-proof glass was stroken with sledge and axe altogether 70 times.
