Unbreakable Panstor–bullet-proof glassPanstor-bullet-proof glass is a multi-storey glass produced by combining glass- and polycarbonate sheets together with coating and liquid lamination. Kimmelux Oy has bullet-proof glass with many different safety classifications. Kimmelux Oy’s bullet-proof glass is considerably thinner, lighter and brighter than competitors corresponding glass. Panstor-bullet-proof glass is used among others in Patria Vehicles Oy's tanks (= armoured vehicles). Panstor-bullet-proof glass fulfils the requirements of SFS-EN 1063, BR1 – BR7 and Stanag 4569 I - III level –bullet proof classifications. Kimmelux Oy produces both shatterproof (NS) and splintering bullet-proof glass.Patria Vehicles Oy uses Kimmelux Oy’s Panstor-bullet-proof glass e.g. in their armoured vehicles for crew transport. Panstor-burglary-proof glass with P7B-classification is only 20 mm thick and the weight of one square meter of this glass is only 37 kg. Burglary proof glass consists of several layers. - 4 mm thick float-glass - 1,5 mm resin layer - 6 mm thick polycarbonate plate - 1,5 mm resin layer - 3 mm thick float-glass - 0,76 mm thick PVB-coating - 3 mm thick float-glass
